TRAVEL & VISA
To enter Singapore, travellers must meet the following immigration requirements:
I. Passport Validity
- Have minimum 6-month passport validity if you are not a Singapore passport holder
II. Visa
- Check if you need Visa to enter Singapore here: https://www.ica.gov.sg/enter-transit-depart/entering-singapore/visa_requirements
- Short-Term travellers holding a passport or travel document from a visa-required country/region must apply for a Visa
- Visa-required travellers can use the Visa-Free Transit Facility for stay of less than 96 hours in Singapore, if eligible
III. SG Arrival Card (SGAC)
All travellers are required to submit the SG Arrival Card within three (3) days (including the day of arrival) before arriving in Singapore, except:

Those transiting/transferring through Singapore without seeking immigration clearance

Singapore citizens, Permanent Residents and Long-Term Pass Holders entering via land checkpoints.
Submission of SGAC is Free and can be done via the SGAC e-Service or MyICA Mobile app. Travellers who fail to submit SGAC may be denied entry into Singapore. For more information on SGAC submission, refer to SGAC with Electronic Health Declaration.

Transportation Details
From Changi Airport to the Shaw Foundation Alumni House at NUS, the most convenient options are taking a taxi or using the MRT, followed by a bus or shuttle.
- By taxi: To hail a taxi or use the Grab app to book a ride to Shaw Foundation Alumni House. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic, and cost around S$25-45
- By public transportation:
- Take the MRT (East-West Line) from Changi Airport MRT station to Tanah Merah MRT station
- Transfer to the East-West Line (Tuas Link-bound) and travel to Kent Ridge MRT station
- From Kent Ridge MRT station, you can either:
- Take bus service 10, 33 95, 151, 151E, 189, or 200 from the Kent Ridge Terminal bus stop and alight at the bus stop outside the Shaw Foundation Alumni House
- Take the internal shuttle bus A1 or A2 from the bus stop outside Kent Ridge MRT station and alight at the bus stop near the Shaw Foundation Alumni House
